Mission Strategy

Beyond our doors are real people with real needs. Jesus calls us to take care of the least, the last, and the lost. We have long been a church that tried its best to serve those around us.  In 2018 we focused our efforts again on mission. We built a Mission Team and began to find service opportunities to engage in locally, regionally, and globally. Here are some images from our most recent mission efforts and below a recap of those and our efforts ongoing.

Recent & Current Mission

​Highlights of the Past Twelve Months:

• We installed multiple wheelchair ramps around Linton
• We hosted our annual Community Dinner with Civitan
• Our men took their annual mission trip to Florida
• ​Our Youth Mission Trip served in Ponce, Puerto Rico this summer
• We launched Laundry Love, a monthly ministry to folks in need, helping them get their Laundry done at the Linton Laundromat
• Raised money for multiple organizations, charities, and families in need, collected plastic bottle caps for Merom benches, donations for Loaves and Fishes, and lots of food for the Linton Food Pantry. 

Mission Opportunities Coming Up:

• October 7-November 11 Collecting shoe boxes with gifts for Operation Christmas Child
• November 4 3rd-5th Grade Youth Group & Middle School/High School Youth Group shopping for Operation Christmas Child boxes 
• Laundry Love will return to Linton Laundromat November 13  and again December 11 6:00-8:00 PM
• Rake N Run in November (date dependent on weather)  
• December 2-5 Mission Trip to Boone, NC to help with Operation Christmas Child sorting and sending of boxes
• Community Dinner for Christmas December 20
• Saron sponsors the Linton Blessing Box for the month of January
